We have made the heartbreaking decision to put our beloved Great Dane, Samson, to sleep tomorrow. His quality of life is deteriorating and we know it is his time to go. He fought hard to survive 3 months with cancer, and lived a healthy and happy life for 8.5 years before that. Anyone who has ever owned, lost, or loved a dog knows how hard this is.
I have no words, and too many tears. Please keep us in your prayers. I am signing off until next week. Hopefully then I can pull myself together enough to write a little tribute post about one of the GREATest Danes (and dogs) that ever lived.
